Production Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:
Based in Hebron, Kentucky the Customer Service Representative will perform essential job functions associated reviewing POs, managing shipment issues, maintaining daily job status updates, ensuring specimen quality, and preparing necessary documentation for job execution. Strong organizational and communication skills are critical to ensure efficient departmental coordination under the direction of the Customer Service Manager to meet customer specifications
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage
· Conduct PO Review on all incoming parts
o Flag PO’s with any sort of discrepancies and work with internal contact or customers to quickly resolve discrepancies
o Resolve incoming receiving discrepancies
o Correct Job Travelers or any errors in planning paperwork
o Plan jobs, open folders to include all necessary paperwork i.e. tech plans, ops sheets
o Plan jobs for expediate fees/premium charges when not on PO
o Contact customer for an amended PO, if there are discrepancies
o Get folders onto the shop floor in an expedient manner
· Devise and manage method for reporting and communication “jobs on hold”; making sure to keep all interested parties updated on a daily basis
· Ensure proper material included with lab folders
· Maintain information within Epicor to ensure reporting is as accurate as possible
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
· Assist others as directed by Customer Service Manager including being a backup for Shipping/Receiving Clerk(s), as needed, to cover volume of work in certain areas. Follow all written instructions where provided, pack completed parts for shipping and unpack parts for processing
Observe all Environment, Health and Safety Policy requirements
Keeping work area neat and orderly at all times
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Disposal of waste per safety standards
Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position

· This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
· Education – High school diploma or equivalent
· Demonstrated organization and documentation skills
· Working experience in a production environment preferred.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Must be able to work in a sitting and standing position for extended periods of time in an office/industrial environment.
Manual dexterity to perform detailed data entry functions.
Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
Ability to hear in person and via phone
