Position Summary:
Based in Rancho Dominguez, CA the Braze Set Up C will perform essential job functions associate with braze treatment under the direction of the Production Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Braze Setup of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
· Torch braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
· Induction braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
· Braze assembly of customer parts in the Belt department
· Operate and monitor Belt Furnace when customer parts are running
· Work with various alloys and chemicals, including but not limited to flux, acetone
· Perform Sandblasting and polishing on materials to ensure they are free from foreign objects, contaminants, and surface imperfections
· Safely handle chemicals and other solvents required for different fabrication processes.
· Utilize high-heat tools such as lightweight torch gun and induction machines
· Inspect finished products to ensure it meets quality control standards.
· Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
· Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Preforms other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
· Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

· Education – High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum one year in brazing
· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
· Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
· Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time in an office/industrial environment.
· Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
· Ability to bend, pull, stoop, climb, twist, and reach to perform functions.
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
· May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
· Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
· Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
· Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
· Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Pay & Benefits Information
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00- $20.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
