Position Summary:
Based in Rancho Dominguez, CA the Shipping/Receiving Cleark will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Customer Service Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Maintains shipping and receiving area as needed.
· Assists with loading and unloading trucks. Schedules truck shipments, UPS, and FedEx as needed.
· Interacts with customers as needed to clarify or communicate discrepancies, delivery schedules, and shipment concerns.
· Inspects and records incoming and outgoing orders for quantity, damage, dates, and accuracy.
· Reports any irregularities, discrepancies, damages, or concerns to supervisor immediately.
· Monitors incoming and outgoing orders to ensure material is not left unattended more than two days.
· Promotes and practices safety and good housekeeping standards.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
· This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
· Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

· This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder. (Keep if ITAR Plant or Remove in non-ITAR)
· Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum one year experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software programs related to function.
· Some shipping experience desired.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
· Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an industrial environment.
· Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
· Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
· Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
· Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
· Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
· Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Pay & Benefits Information
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00- $20.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
