Position Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Vice President, the EHS Regional Manager will be responsible for all Environmental Health & Safety activities within the sites which operates in our ADE PHT & HIP NA East Coast, ensuring that these facilities have consistent procedural control of all activities relating to Health Safety and Environmental control in accordance with local statutory regulations and Bodycote PLC Safety Policy requirements and ADE Division requirements. You will work in partnership with site management teams and divisional teams in ensuring that standards are maintained and continuously improved in a consistent manner.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the region, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards while driving continuous improvement in safety performance and culture.
· Partner with senior leadership, engineering, and plant management to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, implement effective risk reduction strategies, and integrate EHS considerations into operational and business decisions.
· Lead the development, implementation, and execution of EHS initiatives, including program planning, budgeting, training, auditing, incident prevention, emergency preparedness, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance activities.
· Direct and support facility inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained to prevent recurrence and improve overall performance.
· Oversee the management of hazardous materials, environmental controls, ergonomics, fire protection systems, and occupational health programs to safeguard employees, facilities, and the environment.
· Develop organizational EHS capability through employee and management training, coaching, and engagement initiatives that promote accountability and a proactive safety culture.
· Maintain accurate EHS records, metrics, and reporting systems to support regulatory compliance, performance analysis, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement efforts.
· Stay current on emerging regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and provide leadership in adapting programs and processes to meet evolving business and compliance requirements.
· Perform all duties in accordance with the Environmental Management System (EMS), company policies, and ethical business standards, and carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

· This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
· 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the field of EHS
· Degree or certification in occupational safety, environmental management, or comparable experience
· Profound knowledge of EHS standards and regulations (OHSA)
· Previous multi-site level and international EHS leadership experience
· Good system skills, EHS digital systems, Microsoft 365 packages (SharePoint, Power-Bi, Planner)
· Knowledge and experience of HAZOP, JSA and Daily Management (SQDCP).
· Effective communication skills at all levels of a global organization.
· Ability to motivate and influence others
· Understand and support continuous improvements
· Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently while managing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
· Must have excellent problem solving skills
· Must have the ability to develop and conduct training classes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database systems, with hands-on experience using technology to support efficient business operations.
· Ability to travel across the region (50% time).
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment
· Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
· Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
· Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
· May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
· Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
· Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
· Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
· Ability to hear in person and via phone
