Position Summary: The Commercial Systems Director is responsible for driving the organization’s CRM & Power BI strategy and performance. Partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership, they are responsible for designing system initiatives that optimize decision making, implementing structure that enhances customer experience and champion’s best practice.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.
· Develop and lead the end-to-end CRM & Power BI strategy, ensuring alignment with Bodycote commercial objectives and growth priorities
· Drive the transformation of the relevant commercial platforms, delivering measurable improvements in adoption, data quality, and commercial impact
· Act as the central point of accountability for CRM & Power BI performance, governance, and continuous improvement
· Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities within the current usage and processes, implementing practical, scalable solutions
· Simplify and streamline system workflows to improve usability, reduce admin burden, and increase sales team engagement
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear, actionable insights on pipeline, conversion, performance, and forecasting accuracy
· Ensure data integrity, standardization of inputs, and ongoing audit processes
· Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align commercial system outputs with wider business needs and decision-making
· Lead the design and implementation of KPI frameworks within CRM & Power BI to track individual, regional, and global performance
· Manage and develop a small specialist team, setting clear objectives, driving accountability, and building capability
· Deliver system training and ongoing support to the global Bodycote sales and operations teams, ensuring consistent and effective usage across all region.
· Work with senior stakeholders to prioritize system enhancements
· Oversee integration with other systems (e.g. ERP, pricing tools, marketing platforms) to ensure a seamless data flow
· Monitor and report on commercial system ROI, demonstrating impact while managing the Salesforce relationship to maximize system capabilities.
· Drive a culture of accountability and data-led decision making across the commercial organization
· Ensure governance such as ITAR etc are managed and adhered to at all times
· Be willing and able to travel on occasions to engage in current and future business activities
· Perform other duties as assigned

· This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
· Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent extensive training and experience in the industry is required
· Minimum of 10 years of CRM management experience in a commercial environment, with at least 5 years in leadership roles driving high-performing teams
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful CRM improvements and future development initiatives
· Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL).
· Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
· Demonstrated leadership ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
· Exceptional leadership presence along with experience leading cultural and structural transformation within a complex matrixed organization
· Excellent influencing skills – able to unite diverse teams and cross-functional stakeholders to one shared vision
· Culturally adept with the ability to operate effectively across multiple markets and time zones
· Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Suites such as Project, Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Expert in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
· Experience leading change successfully
· Strong experience driving productivity with constant focus on continuous improvement
· Experience driving/developing a highly efficient team
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Must be self-directed individual capable of multi-purpose activities
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
· Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment
· Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
· Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
· Ability to lift 25-30 lbs
· May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
· Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
· Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
· Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
· Ability to hear in person and via phone
· Must be able to sit and drive for long periods visiting customers’ facilities and other required travel, including domestic and international
